It has been lovely to see so many of you return to choir and welcome our new musical director, David Bray. We have had some great rehearsals where our technique has been honed and we have tested our memories by learning new songs, without the words!

We will be demonstrating our new skills on Monday 19th December when you can invite friends and family for a short ' concert' at the end of Mondays session at 9pm. This will be the last session before Christmas. Choir will then resume on Monday 9th January.

The committee is delighted to announce that we have found a new musical director, David Bray. David, a musician who lives in Long Buckby, has lots of experience leading choirs of all kinds and is keen to take us on the next stage of our journey. The committee met with David, after the choir session last Monday, and discussed the direction the choir will go. We are keen to maintain membership and to encourage new members and work towards a performance and singing in the community.

David will start on Monday 28th November when members old and new will be welcome, as well as any new members who would like to join us. The sessions will start at 7.30pm and finish at 9.30pm , with a break in the middle for tea and coffee. The fees will be £3 per week from that point. If anyone has problems covering this cost, please let a member of the committee know as we have funding to help with this.

The AGM is on Monday 7th November. We hope to see as many of you there as possible.

There will be choir on Monday  21st November led by members of the committee.

We look forward to working with David and know that he will be made very welcome.

Rehearsals Postponed

10/1/2022

The Committee has sadly decided that under the current circumstances and because of the high number of people not happy to come back to choir, that our rehearsals will need to be postponed again.  This is until such time that masks are not compulsory within The Church and the Omicron variant and covid is less infectious.

This is with immediate effect so there will be no choir from Monday 10th January until further notice.
